    Unions Sue OSHA Over Employee Protective Equipment

    In 1999 a rule was proposed by OSHA which would have required employers to provide up to an estimated 20 million workers nation-wide with such gear as goggles, face shields, helmets, ear plugs and respirators.

    Now, the AFL-CIO and United Food and Commercial Workers have filed suit against OSHA for its failure to implement the regulation.
