Chiropractor Appointed to DWC Med Evidence Advisory Board
Gary Globe, the provost and academic dean at Cleveland Chiropractic College at Los Angeles, has been named to serve on the Medical Evidence Advisory Committee for the California Division of Workers' Compensation.
The Medical Evidence Advisory Committee is comprised of 17 members. Its purpose is to review and make recommendations to the Administrative Director regarding everything from chiropractic to neurosurgery and internal medicine.
The first meeting associated with Globe's appointment is scheduled for late January or early February 2008 and will take place in northern California.
After that, the committee should meet at least quarterly.
