Zenith Insurance has announced a 25% drop in workers' compensation premiums collected in California in 2006, as compared with 2005, but an increase of almost 50% in profits during that same period.

This continues the industry trend since SB 899 became law in 2004, reflecting lower premium rates and lower costs for claims.
