Depressed Employees: A Major Disability Expense

Some studies suggest that as many as 6% of the U.S. workforce is depressed at any one time. Depression is the fifth leading cause of short-term disability leave.

Needless to say, this translates into literally millions of missed work days annually, not to mention huge medical costs.
