During mid-January, hearings were held by the Division of Workers' Compensation on possible new language for the proposed regulations for Qualified Medical Examiners.
The testimony at these hearings, held in Los Angeles and Oakland, came from all corners of the workers' compensation community including applicants, health providers and carriers.
[Please also see our companion article this week (CLICK HERE) on this same subject from the perspective of another insurance-related agency, the CWCI, requesting that these regulations be made stricter.]
