Employers Direct Leaving California WC Market
 

Wasn't SB 899 supposed to bring BACK workers' compensation insurance carriers to the California market?

It most definitely did... at first.

But right after we recently reported that Employers Direct Insurance Company led the pack in raising July's WC premiums (by a whopping 33%), the company has now announced it's leaving the California market entirely.
