Governor Appeals State Fund
Employees' Furlough Win
 

We've reported over the past few months about the ongoing battle between State Fund workers - first, those in the legal departments; then, more recently, the other departments - over the issue of mandatory furloughs ordered by the Governor.

As it now stands (at the trial level), all State Fund employees are to be reimbursed for the furlough time they were required to take since two different judges have ruled them illegal.

But of course the war wages on.

The Governor has now filed his appeal brief and the respondents have replied!
