New State Court Computer System:
Overpriced & Behind Schedule (Sound Familiar?)
 

The Sacramento Bee published an in-depth feature story on Sunday outlining the state's ongoing efforts to create and implement a "state-of-the-art" computer system for all California courts.

Guided by Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronald George, the system has been in various stages of planning and testing since 2001.

While not specifically workers' comp related, anyone who has gone through the EAMS era can relate to what the state, on a much larger scale (and at costs now estimated to exceed 2 billion dollars), is going through!
