Kate began her career in the municipal prosecutions division at the City of Chicago. In that role she prosecuted all types of cases including high profile fatalities and defended the City in administrative review cases. After conducting thousands of trials before Judges in the Circuit court she honed her trial skills
Kate has extensive experience and a unique insight into winning plaintiff worker’s compensation cases. She worked for one of the largest Workers compensation defense firms learning all the secrets that the defense deploys defending worker’s compensation matters. Kate realized her heart was not in defending insurance companies and employers but her true passion was fighting for the rights of the injured. Now as a part of Dworkin & Maciariello, Kate can use her expertise to help injured workers. Her insight into how insurance companies fight these claims gives her the edge to be successful.
